Baby Quilt Pics

Okay, I finally finished this one. I like the way it turned out, but didn't think I would while I was making it. It is for one of Rex's coworkers who just had a baby girl. Her nursery is decorated in antique Americana. I tried a little harder quilting pattern, which made me utter a few man words, for which I have already repented. :)

The second picture is of the back of the quilt (notice the stars fabric...what a find!) where you can see the quilting a little better.

Zumba!

I tried Zumba at the gym yesterday morning...and can I say that I totally rocked it?...(yeah, right.) If you close your eyes, or just don't look at yourself in the mirror you can pretend you are Paula Abdul. And burn calories at the same time! :) Someone can join me on Thursday mornings at 9am! (hint, hint)

8 Year Old Wisdom

This morning, Scot told me it was good for his soul to lay on the couch and watch Popeye. I told him I thought he might be right. :)

Go Ducks!

We went to the Ducks game on Saturday with Grandma, Grandpa, Kevin, Kendra, William and Charlie. It was lots of fun. The Ducks won by a ton...I think the final score was 50-something to 6. It rained and snowed all the way there, was pouring rain when we went into Louie's for dinner and when we came out to walk to the game...blue sky! We got pretty cold, but not wet! Good seats again this year...thanks Grandma!

Horizon flew over the stadium with their new
University of Oregon airplane! Pretty cool.

Hiking Mt. Scot

Yes, we know that Mt. Scott is spelled with two T's...but we think it should just be one. Scot, Grandma and I hiked Mt. Scot yesterday. It was a climb! We want to do it again when there's no smoke so we can really see the view!
